Theos Hodos Ltd

Theos Hodos Ltd is a national organisation established in 1999 with the sole purpose of raising the social and academic aspirations of groups of underachieving children and young people.

Theos Hodos Ltd is a not- for profit company Limited by Guarantee and established for Charitable, Benevolent and Philanthropic purposes.

Theos Hodos Ltd has currently developed two organisations, that is the National Black Boys Can Association and the WISE Boys Project.

The National Black Boys Can Association provides training and development intervention for Black boys between the ages of 9-16. This organisation addresses the specific needs of Black boys and seeks to break the vicious cycle of underachievement, unemployment, crime and imprisonment.

The WISE Boys project is the newer of the two projects. This project, which is currently being piloted, seeks to address the specific needs of underachieving boys, in particular white working class boys, although it is not solely limited to this group. The WISE boys project builds upon the good practice developed by the National Black Boys Can Association. Its mission is to raise the social and educational achievement of all underachieving boys, particular boys from lower social classes.
