The Oxford University Black Boys Can Project

Project Aim
To raise and realise the academic aspirations and achievements of Black boys who have the potential for achieving high academic credentials.

The Oxford University Black Boys Can programme is a joint project between the University of Oxford’s Oxford Colleges Admission Office, the Oxford Access Scheme and the National Black Boys Can Association. The Oxford Access Scheme was created in 1990, by Black students, to address the under-representation of Black students at Oxford. Their aim is primarily to raise the aspirations of the students with whom they work, aiming to show that for many , Oxford should be considered as a viable option for higher education choices.
